Overview of the O: Boqvist will not return to London, Owen Sound hires analytics director, OHL announces changes for 2019-2020 plus more

 

The London Knights will not have Adam Boqvist in their lineup for the 2019-2020 season. The rearguard has declared he will compete for a roster spot on the Chicago Blackhawks. If he is unsuccessful in making the roster in the NHL he will play for the Blackhawks American Hockey League affiliate Rockford Icehogs.

The Owen Sound Attack announced three new additions to the staff. Brian Teakle and Sean Hogan have been hired to the Attack’s scouting staff. Gus Katsaros will be the teams analytics director.

The Ontario Hockey League Annual Board of Governors meeting has produced a few review changes for 2019-2020. Three notable changes that will take effect include:

Former Windsor Spitfires net minder has landed in the Ontario Junior (A) Hockey League. Colton Incze has signed with the Brantford 99’ers in the OJHL. Colton was a 5th round pick of the Niagara IceDogs in 2015, Incze spent 2 season in Niagara before finding his way to Windsor to finish 2018-2019.
