The Oshawa Generals have hired Dan Currie as the new Director of Scouting and Player Development. Just 24 hours after Kevin Thacker announced he was leaving the position the Generals have filled the vacancy. Dan Currie joins Oshawa after leaving the Windsor Spitfires organization, he has spent the past 7 seasons as a scout for the Spitfires.

The J. Ross Robertson Cup has made its last stop in what’s been referred to as the Storm Cup Tour. Guelph Storm forward Keegan Stevenson spent time with the trophy in Sault Ste. Marie. Keegan was the final member of the 2019 OHL Champions to share some one on one time with the cup.

The Sarnia Sting add to the coaching staff as Franky Palazzese has been hired for the Goaltending Coach vacancy. Palazzese is a Kingston Frontenacs 4th round selection from the 2009 OHL priority draft, the new Sarnia Sting goalie coach spent five season in the OHL with three teams.

The Kitchener Rangers received some unexpected and very shocking news from overage forward Joseph Garreffa. The Rangers forward has announced he will not return to the OHL as he will pursue a professional career. Garreffa is heading to the Los Angeles Kings training camp, he hopes to land with an American Hockey League team to start 2019-2020.
