The 10th place, in the western conference, Soo Greyhound’s seven-game losing streak has come to an end after a big win against the Sudbury Wolves. Currently, the Wolves are in second place in the eastern conference making this win even bigger. The Greyhounds beat the Wolves 6-2 on the road with help from Tye Kartye getting two assists and a goal.

On Tuesday, the Kingston Frontenacs acquired goalie Christian Propp and a third-round pick in the 2023 draft from the Soo Greyhounds in exchange for Bailey Birkin. So far, Propp has played 14 games this season with a 4 – 7 – 1 record. The Frontenacs next game is Friday the 15th against the Kitchener Rangers at 7:30 p.m.

The Sarnia Sting have won their fifth game in a row and have won 10 of their past 11 games. In a game against the Flint Firebirds, who are currently in 1st place in the western conference, the Sting won 5-1. Even with the high-score, the Firebirds goalie Anthony Popovich made a huge save in the third period to stop the Sting from extending their lead.Â

Ottawa 67’s acquire Mississauga Steelheads forward

On Wednesday, the Mississauga Steelheads traded forward Adam Varga for a sixth-round pick in the 2020 draft. According to 67’s General Manager James Boyd, Varga will be joining the team on their road trip to Saginaw (Thursday), Flint (Saturday), and Sarnia (Sunday).
