Overview of the O: Attack trade MacLean, Paquette to the Petes, Colts sign a pair, and more

The Owen Sound Attack have traded goaltender Andrew MacLean to the Oshawa Generals for a draft pick. The Generals acquire the 18 year-old net minder from the Attack for Kingston Frontenacs fifth round selection in the 2021 OHL priority selection draft. Andrew tallied 11 wins in 32 games played for Owen Sound.

OHL alumni and former Ottawa 67’s forward Logan Couture has been named the San Jose Sharks Captain for the 2019/2020 season.

The Peterborough Petes have acquired defenceman Jacob Paquette from the Niagara Ice Dogs. In exchange the Petes will send four picks to the IceDogs, those picks include:

Kingston’s third round pick in 2020,

London’s second round pick in 2021,

Peterborough’s third and fifth round picks in 2021.

The Barrie Colts have signed two players both are 2019 selections. Goaltender Matteo Lalama who is currently playing with the Collingwood Colts Jr (A) Hockey team was selected at the 2019 U18 OHL draft. The second signing is import forward Vladislav Dvurchenskii who has also spent time with the Barrie Colts affiliate the Collingwood Colts. Vladislav was on the highlight reel in Collingwood scoring his first goal in his first game.
