Team Canada under-18 selection camp takes place from July 26th until the 30th, 44 players have been invited to selection camp and 41 of those players are Canadian Hockey League representatives. 16 Ontario Hockey League players will be among the 44 players invited, on the line is a roster spot for Team Canada at the upcoming Hlinka Gretzky Cup in August.

Oshawa Generals alumni Marc Savard has accepted the role of Assistant Coach with the defending Stanley Cup Champions. Marc was a 2nd round draft selection of the Oshawa Generals in 1993 and was selected in the 4th round, 91st overall by the New York Rangers in 1995. The St. Louis Blues new assistant coach tallied 413 points in 238 games played in the OHL, all with the Generals.

The Sudbury Wolves announce the addition of Tony Macdonald as a Senior Advisor to the team. Tony has spent the past 25 years in the Carolina Hurricanes organization, he was the Hurricanes Director of amateur scouting for the past 12 seasons. He retired from the NHL after the 2019 NHL entry draft and lands with Sudbury as an advisor with a wealth of knowledge.
