The 2019 QMJHL champion Rouyn-Noranda Huskies added to their already impressive season by taking home the 2019 Memorial Cup. They accomplished this feet by coming back from down two goals to host and fellow QMJHL rival Halifax Mooseheads to win their first ever Memorial Cup. Tournament MVP Joel Teasdale netted one of four goals for the Huskies in the comeback effort.

Following their semi-final loss to the eventual Memorial Cup champion Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, the Guelph Storm have announced plans for thier OHL Championship parade. It will take place this afternoon starting at 4pm at the Sleeman Centre and ending at Market Square. Guelph captured the 2018-2019 OHL Championship crown in remarkable fashion, coming back in multiple series and beating the playoff favorites Ottawa 67’s in the final. The Storm also put up a strong showing at this year’s Memorial Cup, coming in 3rd place after falling 6-4 to the eventual champions.
