Overview of the O: Knights sign two 3rd round selections, Rangers ink 4th round pick, and more

The London Knights have signed two of their 2019 OHL draft selections. Both players were selected in the third round of the draft by the Knights, 6 picks separate the two newest London Knights. Knights forward Ty Anselmini was the first player drafted of the two, Ty was selected with the 47th overall selection. The Guelph, Ontario native spent last season with the Guelph Jr. Gryphons tallying 51 points.

The second, third round selection and newest London Knights player is Connor Federkow. The St. Catharines, Ontario defence man played with the Niagara North Stars team, Connor posted 10 points in 31 games played.

The Kitchener Rangers announce the signing of 2019 fourth round selection Jesse Fishman. The Kitchener Rangers newest forward was committed to the Toronto Jr Canadiens in the Ontario Junior (A) Hockey League. After an impressive showing at camp the former Mississauga Rebels standout will remain with the OHL club to start 2019-2020.

The Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds announce the signing of Matthew Halushak for 2019-2020. Matthew was drafted in the 9th round of the 2018 OHL priority draft by the Greyhounds. The Greyhounds defence man spent last season with the Thunder Bay North Stars in the Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL).

The Sudbury Wolves are expecting a new addition to the blue line for the 2019/2020 OHL season. 2019 second round import selection and Finland born defence man Kalle Loponen will make his way overseas to join the Wolves. Loponen was recently drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 7th round of the 2019 NHL entry draft.
