Mississauga Steelheads have received a commitment from their 1st round pick at this years CHL import draft. Norwegian born defenseman Ole Julian Bjorgvik Holm has committed to the Steelheads. The 31st overall pick hails from Oslo, Norway where he played for the Mangerlund Star in 2017-2018. Ole moved to Denver for the 2018-2019 season where he played with the Colorado Thunderbirds U-16 Midget team.

The J. Ross Robertson Cup has been traveling all off-season and its latest destination has been with Fedor Gordeev, Owen Lalonde, and Sean Durzi. All three defenseman have had their time with the cup as OHL Champions.
